1 can (15 oz) garbanzo beans, drained – reserve liquid
2 oz fresh jalapeno pepper, sliced
½ tsp ground cumin
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 cloves minced garlic
1-2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
½ tsp paprika

Fancy Pokket Mini Pitas


In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients; add 1 tablespoon of the reserved bean liquid. Blend until smooth. Place in serving bowl and drizzle with 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil and sprinkle with paprika. Serve with Fancy Pokket white or whole wheat mini pita.
